I really, really liked this book a lot! The author clearly has had experience with both the world of eventing (horses) and emotional/mental illness, and she tied these together nicely. I truly couldn't put the book down. SPOILER ALERT: This story involves pedophelia (but not in graphic detail - it is alluded to) and gets inside the mind of a pedophile. This may be uncomfortable reading for some so just be aware of that.The characters in this story were complex and, I felt, 3 dimensional. As the mother of a child who suffers from anxiety and depression, I worried that my child may not find a supportive spouse but they did - someone quiet and unassuming, much like Paul in this story. I highly recommend this book!

Great plot, story. I'd like to find more by this author. I saw where she had only one other published (as I remember). I'll be looking for more of her books as she combined it all, plot, horses, mystery and romance. Great job to the author.
After finishing Saving Gracie, I started right in on Finding Sara. The plot twists and character development compelled me forward to finish reading on no time at all. Sara's complexities intrigued me, and her naive trust in a world she should have run from screaming was endearing.
This is an exciting and heartening story about a young woman being manipulated by voices in her head. Never thinking much of herself doesn't help her socialize, but when she starts a relationship, she gains perspective about others, her own family and the adventures begin. I don't want to ruin the ending, but this is worth the read. Loved it.
really interesting book with lots of twists and turns. Scary that this sort of thing happens but I know it has. I stayed awake to finish it and do not regret the lost hours.
In many ways a romance, in many a horrible mystery that destroys several lives, it's also a horse story. ignore the horses name, everyone wants a mare like that!
Outstanding novel and I highly recommend it. I was a little concerned that it might be a depressing story but it was uplifting and impossible to put down... literally! You don't have to be a horse lover to get this book, but you can tell the author actually knows horses. Real people, strong character development, good pacing. If you are an intelligent reader who enjoys a very well written suspense and sweet romance, this is for you. I'm definitely a fan of Nancy Demarco.
While I usually read books that are a great deal 'harder' i.e. bodies scattered throughout the countryside kind of thing so I was pleasantly surprised after reading this book.
Yes, the main character has some issues, but the resolution of them more fully develops that character through powerful writing, an engaging plot and just enough detail on horses and riding to keep providing an interesting background.
I can hardly wait to see what this author has in store for the future!
I loved this book! The author gets you so invested in the characters, I love that. Every time I expected one turn, it took another. I'd recommend this book to anyone who loves romance, mystery or psychological thrillers. Not often do you get it all in one place. Hated to see it end. Will definitely be looking for more from this author!
